Taking risks again

Jumping, dancing and goofing around. That’s what you want to see your child doing on a carefree day. But I’ll be honest. In the back of my head, I have the worries of “she’s not balanced enough to take these physical risks” and “I should stop that before she gets hurt.”
But I didn’t. So she kept jumping and running and taking risks.
But when it comes to riding her bike on two wheels, Miss Jordan won’t do it.

Seriously. We tried it a couple of times and every time she gets nervous and shaky and worried. I have no idea how to help her through it. Her brother was overly concerned about his physical safety. But on the whole, Jordan is a risk taker. But not on a bike.

I even showed Jordan this video of a little boy encouraging other kids. (I’m sure you’ve seen it. I love it very much.)

By the way, Jordan did get skinned knees during our vacation… But that’s because she was running while wearing Crocs. And we all know all children fall down when they run wearing Crocs.

My friend Rhonda took the pedals of their son’s bike and used it as a scoot/balance bike until he was well balanced. He’s riding like a pro now!

It certainly couldn’t hurt to try!

and what if you do not ride bicycles without wheels helpful? Jordan is good for so many other things! All in good time! :)
Sebastian riding (with auxiliary wheels), without prosthesis, with only right hand.
I did not think that will ever climb on the bike. and now, always scare me when i see him how fast go.
